Prologue

Prologue 1897 The summer air whispered through the pine trees as the light failed, the air and light darkening to a gun smoke blue, highlighted with orange and reds. The pine trees swung and shivered in the wind, their needles clattering and rustling. Father Vasily crossed quickly along the small dirt path that led forwards into the dark, sap smelling wood, and behind lay the wheat fields ripe and golden swaying in the strong breeze as the late summer evening grew darker. His feet crunched across dried, brown pine needles, but the path, so commonly walked by him that it was swept of difficult rocks or branches. Father Vasily

Chapter 1 She raced down the dingy access way lit only by the dirty yellow of fluorescent tubes hung overhead. Her bare feet slapped hard onto the grilled flooring, and a dull ringing fell behind her. She twisted through the maze of concrete walls and dangling piping taking turns and corners whenever her path allowed. She briefly looked over her shoulder and then slowed to a stop. Her breathing was ragged and she bent double for a second.

So yeah first journal entry. Guess all I can say is that I have been crappy with updates since I set up the account. But, that all changes now. Definitely gonna post all the art and such which I've been working on the last few weeks and haven't posted. I've found a new style I really like (and is also nicked from the amazing Ben Templesmith [url][link])and I've been playing with that recently. Although not in my sketchbook as I recently filled that D:. Speaking of which I haven't been able to work on anything for War for Arcadia, which is a great art/comic/competition website that all of you should check out ([url][link]). I urge you to join for upcoming Round 17, which should be epicly awesome. Anyways just thought I'd post something to this damn devart for once. Cheers!
